She has been involved in plays and musicals for as long as she can remember, both through school and the La Porte Little Theatre. Her favorite performances were as Ruth in Pirates of Penzance, The Ghost of Christmas Past in Scrooge and Marley: A Christmas Carol, as well as celebrating Indiana’s 200th birthday in the company of many talented singers and musicians, in Hoosiers in Music, at the La Porte Little Theatre. Lindsey has auditioned for talent competitions such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The Voice, and also local competitions including Michiana’s Rising Star and Hoosier STAR. Lindsey owes everything in her life to her best friend and biggest fan – her mom, Linda. She would like to thank her for all that she has done and for endlessly supporting all of her crazy ambitions. Lindsey is very excited to share the stage with the amazing talent of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra and the other Hoosier Star finalists.

In addition, he has been in many musicals including community, high school and college theatre. Aaron has spent his entire adult life educating the youth and will continue to do it until he has left this Earth. He would like to thank first and foremost God, as well as his mother, his beautiful girlfriend Kristen, his family and friends, his best friend Brandon Williams and everyone who has ever been a part of his life. Also, he thanks all those who support education and the fine arts!

Michael Green, a native of LaPorte, Indiana, has been singing in a variety of venues from the age of 12. Active in choral music through his graduation from Valparaiso University in 2004, he is also an experienced soloist in productions of Pirates of Penzance, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Bye Bye Birdie, and Cradle Will Rock. After graduating with a BA in Theatre Arts, he moved to Chicago, where he became involved in the independent film industry. By 2006, Michael and his writing partner, Aaron Stahlecker, had moved back to LaPorte to begin filming their own full length feature film entitled Providence, which featured 8 original songs written and recorded by the duo. Michael has also actively performed as a front-man for several rock bands. Most recently, he sang in the LaPorte July 4th parade and at Hannah Fest (both in 2014), with the classic rock cover band, Black Water Levee. He would like to thank his family and friends for supporting all of his artistic endeavors over the years.

James Neary is a singer-songwriter from the Chicagoland area. His blues-inspired vocals and soaring falsetto serve as perfect complements to his close-to-the-chest songwriting. Since releasing his first full-length album, 2013, James has gone on to open for the likes of Katie Todd, Andrew Salgado, and Matt Schofield, and has even performed on-stage alongside Muse. His is a passionate, electrifying performance that you won’t want to miss.

In addition to several community theatre productions, Diane has performed with The United States Collegiate Choir, The Lafayette Bach Chorale, The Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus, and The Kankakee Valley Community Chorus.
